Geocache Description:

This cache collection between the East Yorkshire villages of Skidby and Walkington is a tribute from the Young Team-Chocolate members to the music of Queen.

The circuit is about a seven mile figure of 8, of 15 caches in total and can also incorporate several other caches in Walkington and Skidby (another seven as at Feb 2014).  The caches are mainly bison tubes/key box caches, with one nano and one large box.  Please bring tweezers and your own pen.  There is a village shop in each village to stock up on refreshments, and a café at Risby (1/2 way round).

Queen are one of the greatest rock bands in history, formed in London in 1971, originally consisting of the late Freddie Mercury, Brian May, John Deacon, and Roger Taylor.  The band has released a total of 18 #1 albums, and 18 #1 singles worldwide.  Their album sales are estimated to be around 200 million, making them one of the world's best-selling music artists.

It was the release of “A Night at the Opera” in 1975 that first brought the band to international prominence and the featured single "Bohemian Rhapsody", launched their long careers, charting at number one in the UK Singles Chart for nine weeks.

Recently, Queens “Greatest Hits” album sold its 6 millionth copy in the U.K.

This cache is named after the hit song: - “Keep Yourself Alive" which is the opening track on the band's debut album Queen and was released as Queen's first single.

It includes the lines - But if I crossed a million rivers, and I rode a million miles, then I'd still be where I started.

coming from Number 12 after crossing the river, keep the fence to your right.

Congratulations to Cajuncoffee on the first to find!
