THE HUMMER
Hummer was a brand of trucks and SUVs, first marketed in 1992 when a civilian version of the M998 Humvee was produced . In 1998, the brand name was sold and three vehicles were produced. : The original Hummer H1, based on the Humvee; and the H2 and H3 models that were based on smaller, civilian-market vehicles.
By 2008, Hummer's viability in the economic downturn was being questioned
In 2009, a Chinese manufacturer, announced that it would acquire Hummer, pending government approvals, but later withdrew its bid.
In 2010, it was announced that the Hummer brand would be discontinued.
Tthe last Hummer H3 rolled off the line at Shreveport on May 24, 2010.
THE CACHE
I recently came out to do the other nearby ROCKY series and couldnt leave the area without leaving a memento of my visit.
Be careful coming in. There is a lot of rubbish in the area, including broken glass and scrap metal. So keep the geo-kids in close range and above all, know your limitations. There are some very basic tracks, but also some challenging ones.
