Geocache Description:

My first geocaching series! A group of 6 caches along a road with no destination. The "Road To No Where". I made the series with beginners in mind as these would be a good starting point for anyone just beginning with geocaching! A large Clip Lock box with room for some swaps. A coin for the FTF

The road to no where was originally intended to link Rodford way with Nibly. The dual carrageway was only partially completed in 1974. This was stopped due to Yate becoming part of Avon. Due to the fact the dual carragway would require a bridge over the railway, funding was stopped and the road was left only partially completed.

To this day it remains, although it does have its uses! The site was used many times to stage car accidents for episodes of casualty and also a music video. The road is mostly used nowadays by dog walkers, cyclists and runners and still remains one of Yates most popular 'landmarks'

!!!! CONGRATULATIONS TO qurlez FOR FTF !!!! AND FTF FOR THE ENTIRE SERIES !!!!.
