Geocache Description:

International Pi Day is an unofficial holiday commemorating the mathematical constant π (pi). Pi Day is observed on March 14 (or 3/14 in month/day date format), since 3, 1 and 4 are the three most significant digits of π in the decimal form.

And as we all know, Π is often used in many devious ways in Puzzle caches so of course Π is very important to Geocaching!

So let's give it up to the Puzzle Cache creators at this picnic honoring the all important Π at a location that is ALL about Π!

When: Friday March 14th at 6:28pm to 8:30pm
Where: Willowbank Park, Tawa. A large grassy area with a children's play park, and of course a few local caches within easy strolling distance. It's adjacent to the Takapu Rd railway station, which has plenty of parking.
Why: To gather, eat and talk about geocaching, why else?
Bring your own Pie, Fries or Fish & Chips and enjoy an Autumn picnic.
Who: This event is open to all. Both local and visiting cachers are all welcome.
