Geocache Description:

BYOP. There is only room for the log. Parking is available on the paved area next to the chapel. Permission was granted to place this cache.

The Indian Springs Chapel was built around 1890. It was built using lumber left over from the construction of the Wigwam Hotel, which was located across the street in what is now Indian Springs State Park. The Chapel contains the original kerosene light fixture, colored glass windows, and a brass bell placed when it was built. The color of the paint on the exterior of the chapel is the original color. The chapel is now owned by the Butts County Historical Society. The church is available for tours by appointment.
