This is a beautiful place to walk in the winter and it is about 0.8 miles round-trip from the trailhead to the bison tube cache.
There is a gate at the entrance to this area so you may have to walk in from the gate if it is closed. I have included the parking lot/trailhead coordinates. On this 18° F day, the trail was very nice but I suspect this trail could be very damp in the summer.
