I was in the area looking for another cache, but was unable to find it.
When I contacted the CO and described the situation, he told that he would archive the cache. When searching the area for the original cache, I had come upon an object that seemed out of place. After hearing that the previous cache would be no more, I decided that this found object would make an interesting, if unconventional hide. So I went ahead and hid it, and now there is a new cache to be found.
BYOP. There is no space for a pen or any swag.
