Destined to become one of the all time masterpieces of modern popular music, the Norweigan duo of brothers calling themselves Ylvis wrote and performed "The Fox". The song and video first appeared on YouTube in September 2013 and immediately went viral, garnering over 366 million hits by publication time of this cache, and peaked at #6 on Billboard's U.S. Hot 100 that same month. After listening to this catchy, cute, upbeat, and rather annoying little tune about three hundred times (I did say it was catchy), the lyrics began to speak to me, and I thought I heard a hidden message in the song. I wrote the lyrics down as best as I could remember but I'm not sure I got them exactly right. Here's what I transcribed, perhaps listening to it again a couple of times might help. You might be able to find it on the internet if the link is working.
