Botanic cache on Botany Bay. GZ will give you a great view of what Botany Bay has become. The cache is a little delicate so please be gentle with retrieval of the log. The cache is log only so bring your writing implement. Best to remove the cache retire to any of a dozen seating spots and sign at your leisure before returning the cache.
Botany Bay has seen much change since captain cook landed at kurnell. The landing spot is visible from GZ and you can see the changes that a modern city brings from the port, the airport and the caltex refinery. Sydney has changed a lot but still remains a great city with lovely waterways. Enjoy the view in the shade. The area has gret bike paths and many kids play areas and the nearby pavilion has food and toilets.
