The village called Aten was founded in 1881 in Cedar County, Nebraska, across the Missouri River from Yankton, South Dakota. It was named for its postmaster, John Aten, who was a former state senator from Cedar County.
This cache was first made available for the attendees of the 5th Annual Yankton Spring Event. I enjoy looking for this type of hide. I hope you do to.
