This is our fifth cache hide. The first, RJMC's First, (which is now gone) was the brainchild of our son. Not to be outdone, his sister found her own container. She camouflaged it herself, had me drive around until she found the perfect field. Then she had us walk around that field for over half an hour before she decided on the perfect bush. Only one thing remained. The name.
She could not come up with a name so she asked me to name it for her. For some reason, I had been thinking about my military service years and my unit motto came to mind.
Toujours Pret. A quick Google search will reveal the unit name and the meaning of that motto: Always Ready. It was said when saluting an officer.
I wonder if anyone would know what the appropriate response to that motto was? If an officer was saluted saying "Toujours Pret, Sir", what was the appropriate reply? I just had a last minute idea. The first person to correctly answer that, we will hide an ammo can container in their honor. (Ooooh, I can feel this one coming back to bite me right now!)
On another note, my son and I have a side bet going as to who the FTF will be. I think a tow truck will be involved but he is not so sure.
There are some goodies in the container including an un-activated TB, a Geocoin wanting to get moving and a tiny doll my daughter found in another cache and wanted to turn into a TB.
