Do you remember 100 months ago? How about 8 years and 3 months, or 3,012 days, or 72,288 hours, or 4,337,280 minutes, or 260,236,800 seconds? What were you doing?
100 months ago (Dec. 2005) President George W. Bush was in his second term of office and Chris Brown sat atop the recording charts with his first #1 single, "Run It!" The top movie was "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire" and "Myspace" was searched for on Google more than any other word. In 2005, Ashton Kutcher married Demi Moore, Nick Lachey and Jessica Simpson called it quits, and Brad Pitt left Jennifer Aniston for Angelina Jolie.
A lot has changed in the last 100 months, but one thing that hasn't is Night-Hawk's FTF (first-to-find) streak. Beginning with three FTFs on the "Ducks in a Row" geocache series on 12/13/05, Night-Hawk has had at least one FTF every single month since, for a total of 99 consecutive months (thru 2/2014). During that same period he has 900+ FTFs, averaging more than nine a month. Absolutely amazing!
So, this is our way of turning an ordinary hide into a tribute of Night-Hawk's extraordinary achievement, and will hopefully serve as one of the caches he ultimately finds as he reaches 100 consecutive FTF months.
