Geocache Description:

We enjoy living in Randolph County and its landscape. It occured to us that there should be a way to see the size and beauty of our county and so we have started placing caches at or near the boundary lines. As always, please be respectful  of property and return the caches as found. Thanks.

We have rounded the curve and once again have come to a definite marking of the boundary. That is, if you are heading south and doing these in order. If you come here it is for the scenic beauty, the solitude and the cache. You are in the Uwharrie National Forest. Uwharrie is translated from German and means,"New Home". We are also amazed once again that the road changes name, even though it is still the same road. In addition to the sign, there are 2 concrete boundary markers in the ground. Because of the way of the sign, the cache is NOT at the sign.

The container is NOT at the sign, but is off the road about 15 feet and is a camoed Peanut Butter Jar. Please replace it as found and make sure lid is on tight. If log is wet, please replace and let me know.
