Navigation to #3: At Lightwood Road go Left and taking great care, cross A520 and go Right. A series of 12 caches plus a bonus cache on a circular walk in the Meir Heath and Rough Close (MHRC) area. This 3 mile walk is mainly on pavements, field and woodland paths where underfoot conditions will vary due to the weather and time of year so appropriate footware is recommended. Some of the roads have no footpath so extra care should be taken with geokids. The caches are a variety of types and are best found in numerical order starting from the suggested parking spot to avoid unnecessary retracing of steps for the bonus. Some caches will contain clues to enable the bonus cache to be found and some only hold a log sheet so bring your own pen or pencil and tweezers. Suggested parking is on the spare ground at the top of Rough Close Common (N52 57.446 W2 06.619). The bonus cache is at: N52 57.ABC W2 006.DEF where ABCDE and F will be found in some of the caches.
