Four containers are hidden in various locations where we frequently visit throughout Atlanta. Written on the lid of each of these four containers are numbers that will lead you to the final cache located in our hometown of Newnan (if you choose to hunt for it). Due to the distance between these locations, I don’t expect anyone to complete all five caches in one day – unless you want to spend a good deal on the road and a bunch of gas.
GC4Z852 Bake the Cake: Chopped Nuts (Acworth)
GC4Z85E Bake the Cake: Peanut Butter (Stone Mountain)
GC4Z861 Bake the Cake: Vanilla Frosting (Peachtree City)
GC4Z86H Bake the Cake: Margarine (Atlanta Airport)
GC4Z878 Bake the Cake and Eat it, too! (Newnan)
You are looking for a camo’d margarine container. No need to venture too far into the woods as the cache is only a few feet away from the grass in an obvious location. There is a place to pull off on the side of the road so you can avoid parking in the nearby hotel’s paid parking lot. For those out of town cachers that are staying in one of the nearby hotels, it’s an easy walk and well lit. Be careful of those crazy drivers down this road, though!
Update 4/28/16: You are now looking for a camo'd peanut butter jar.
Update 4/16/21: You are now looking for a hanging green capsule about head high.
