YORK REGION GEOCACHERS CLUB invites you to the Kortright Centre for Conservation for a weekend of geocaching fun!
Come socialize with fellow geocachers, attend workshops/seminars, play some games, discover and/or trade Travel Bugs, and find themed caches suited for the whole family to enjoy. The event is FREE to attend however regular park admission applies. BBQ food vendor available on-site.
The Geofest is a two-day event over the entire weekend of Saturday May 31 and Sunday June 1, 2014, from 10 am to 4 pm each day.

The Geofest is FREE to attend. There is NO event fee. (Regular park admission/parking applies. Children 15 and under are FREE)

Attend one day or both!
Upon arrival be sure to come to registration table at the Picnic Pavilion (Geofest HQ - posted coordinates) located just outside the Visitor's Center to register and fill out your ballot for great prizes. We will be there to answer any questions and provide details of on-site activities.
Earn extra prize ballots participating in the variety of FUN social and teambuilding games at Geofest HQ!
Hands-on workshops and seminars include: Geocaching 101, Geocaching Tools, Make-and-Take a Geocache and Puzzle Cache Symposium. Check Geofest HQ for details on times and locations.
Themed geocaches to challenge and entertain geocachers of all ages and levels.
GPS units available for loan. Instruction for beginners.
Kortright Centres offers: Guided Archetype Sustainable House tours, Power Trip Trail, Greenworks Building, 325 hectare area, and 16 km of trails.
Drop off and discover geocoins and travel bugs at the Geofest HQ. Help move others along.
Bring your own kite. There is a large kite flying field and plenty of room by the pavilion for smaller kites.
Food will be available for purchase in Cafe or BBQ at the Geofest HQ
Menu items include: Sausages on Buns, Hamburgers, Hot Dogs, Veggie Burgers, Pop, Water, Juice, Chips and Frozen Treats. Or you can bring your own lunch.
Camping is available at the nearby Indian Line Campground or you can stay at one of the many nearby hotels.
