Geocache Description:

Parking at the end of the beach road, very near the cache. 

Please keep dogs on lead and use bins provided. Take great care not to venture out over the sands at low tide as many visitors have become trapped.

The sheep are here over the Autumn and Winter to keep the grass down and encourage grassland suitable for wild flowers and breeding birds. The sheep are a rare breed: Hebridean sheep. 

the place is busy in the summer and you will probably see kite surfing on the waves and sand-yachting on the beach. Bring your kite!
