Always Twilight Traditional Cache

To the long-time locals, this spot is Twilight Canyon.  A signed marked this spot as Twilight Canyon until the late 70's. Then the larger campground was built at the end of the road off Turkey Flat, and it was dubbed Twilight Canyon.  But this small canyon tucked just off the road will always be Twilight Canyon to old timers.  No matter what the season or time of day, in this secluded and shady spot it's "always twilight."

I've always thought this spot just needs a picnic table or bench.  It's such a serene place, and there is usually water running here.  I just love the quiet stillness here right next to the road.  So, instead of a table or bench I've placed a geocache for you to quickly grab.

It can be difficult to pick up satellites in this canyon and get accurate coordinates. (I averaged 6 different sets of coordinates), but rest assured that the cache is nearby and not too hard to find. It is shoved it back on it's shelf and hidden behind a rock. Because of winter snow, I did not place it on the ground. Because of water, I did not place it near the stream. Go into the canyon, look about and think about where you would place a cache. Yes, it's sitting right there. Protected from the snow, water, and rain.
