Beaver Dam Lake Traditional Cache

This cache is temporarily unavailable.

Rock Rabbit: This geocache was brought to my attention as being in need of an owner maintenance visit. The cache owner needs to check on this cache ASAP and either replace it or archive it, after picking up any geo-litter. See the maintenance section of the Geocache Listing Requirements/Guidelines.

I've added this cache to my watchlist, and I will check back in four weeks to be sure that the maintenance has been done. In the meantime, I have temporarily disabled this listing. When the maintenance is completed, the owner can enable the listing by clicking on the link below the cache name to return it to active status.

Whatever your intentions, please post a note here on the cache page (not email) to let us know that you are still active and maintaining the cache. If a month passes without seeing a response, then I'll assume that this listing should be archived.

Geocache Description:

This a nice quick hike up a logging road. The area is beautiful and peaceful. I have not explored past the cache but there are multiple shoots off the main logging road.

Park at the base of the logging road. Continue up the main logging road, Minard Rd NW. Today the gate was open and a few cars did go past us but normally it is closed. After awhile you will hear a waterfall off to the right. There is a narrow trail that leads down to if you chose to check it out. Once you have done that, continue further up the logging road. You will cross a creek. Keep going. Soon you will come to Beaver Dam Lake. Walk just pass the lake and veer left off the main logging road onto a more grassy path. Before you come to the end of this "road" there is a narrow trail that looks like it has been formed by the beavers or other animals that travel thru there. Climb the short little hill and you come to a clearing about 15'x15'. Here you will find a hidden little treasure. Enjoy!
