Ma On Shan Bypass is located in the south of Ma On Shan with three lanes in each direction and a posted speed limit of 80 kilometers per hour. The bypass initially called Ma On Shan Trunk Road T7. Its total length of 4.2 kilometers and including 1.7 kilometer noise barrier. This is designed to let the vehicle to aviod the Ma On Shan busy downtown and connects the Ma On Shan Road near Heng On Estate with Sai Sha Road near Cheung Muk Tau. View from plan, its green cover make its looks like an azure dragon.

On 12 December 2009, Ma On Shan Bypass was used as road race track in East Asian Games. Finally, three Hong Kong riders swept the podium in the men's individual road race. Therefore, I would like to take the opportunity of this geocache to salute the Hong Kong Cycling Team, who's contribution in Hong Kong sports over the years.
