Kajaanissa on tätä ennen yksi letterbox-kätkö (GC4MKPC). Se on kuitenkin monille geokätköilijöille niin vaikeasti saavutettavissa, että päätin tehdä helpommin etsittävän ja tavoitettavan kätkön.
Koordinaatit vievät sinut Vimpelinlammen pysäköintipaikalle, josta sinun pitää edetä seuraavien vihjeiden mukaisesti kätkön luokse.
Pysäköintipaikalla eteesi avautuu kaunis Vimpelinlampi. Jatka matkaasi oikealle vievää kävelytietä. Hetken kuluttua saavut naisten ja miesten majalle, älä käänny oikealle vaan jatka vasemmalle suoraan eteenpäin vievää rantabulevardia.
Vasemmalla näet koko ajan lammen ja sen uimarannan laavuineen. Hetken kuluttua saavut virtaavalle joelle, ylitä se siltaa pitkin ja jatka edelleen suoraan kohti metsäisempää vaihetta. Kävele, kävele, kävele.
Nähdessäsi ensimmäisen numeron, näet myös edessäpäin sankan kuusikon.Kävele vielä noin 40 m kyltiltä eteenpäin ja käänny sen jälkeen oikealle lähtevälle polulle. Kävele tätä polkua myös noin 40m ja näet kuusikon reunassa kaksi lähekkäin kasvavaa koivua. Koivujen oksat hipovat suuren kolmihaaraisen kuusen oksia. Kierrä kuusen taakse ja sen suojissa roikkuu purkki.

In Kajaani there is one letterbox-cache before this (GC4MKPC). For many of us geocachers it is so hard to reach, that I decided to make an easier one.
Coordinates take you to a parking place of Vimpelinlampi pond. From there you must follow the hints below to get to the cache.
At parking place you can see in front you the beautiful Vinpelinlampi pond. Take the right walking path. Soon you will arrive the women’s and men’s hut. From there continue straight to left to beach boulevard.
On your left side you’ll see the pond, it’s beach all the way. In a while you will reach little river. Cross it through the bridge and continue your journey straight forward towards the forest area. Walk, walk, walk.
When you’ll see the first number, keep walking about 40 m and then turn right onto a small path. Again walk about 40m and you can see two birches growing side by side. Behind those birches is big spruce (that spruce has 3 tops). Look behind that spruce.
For those of you who wants to go straight to cache, the coordinates are: N 64 12.374 ja E 27 41.317
Inside the cache is a stamp. DO NOT take it with you.
