Geocache Description:

Annaghdroghal Bridge

Leaving Lurgan take the road leading to Aghagallon, which then goes on to Aghalee, Ballinderry and Crumlin. Before you reach Aghagallon turn left into Annaghdroghal Lane - the lane name sign is easy to miss as it is overgrown, but there is also a sign pointing to the National Cycle Path.

Follow Annaghdroghal Lane past Droghal Farm to your right, and on to a narrow bridge. Cross this and pull in to park on the right, there is space there for a car.

Horse drawn barges once played a vital role in the transport system, carrying tons of merchandise between Belfast and Lough Neagh ports.

Unfortunately the canal at this point is in need of some TLC ( sadly this is not unique to this area ) though I believe Craigavon and Lisburn councils are trying to remedy this.

The cache is a micro.
