We all have memories of really awesome geocaches we've found over the years. Today is an opportunity to gather in thanks of those who boldly went where no one has gone before, to create the caches which gave us those memories. I will be burning some hot dogs at the posted coordinates. I'll likely fire up the grill around 3:00pm, and start serving once the dogs are good and charred. Feel free to show up anytime betwixt Noon and 5:00pm to schmooze. Feel free to bring any side dishes, chips, soda, whatever, if you think it would compliment my horrid cooking.
If you have a cache of your own which is already in play, and you would like to show it off, feel free to bring it to the event. We'd love to drool over it! One thing you should do in that case is temporarily disable your cache, and make it clear that folks cannot log a find simply because they located it on the picnic table at my event. If you've got a cache in the works, feel free to bring that by as well.
I will be obtaining a permit for anyone who wishes to camp out here this weekend.
