Ahh Christmas, everyone loves Christmas Don’t you? Me it is two things. Yes my Savor Christ, the Reason for the Season, his birth is celebrated is always 1st on my mind when I think of Christ mas. But let us talk about the rest of the season. The secular part of what goes on during that time leading up to that day. . The SANTA and the PRESENTS! There is that anticipation of FINDING something on that one special morning. Of course this is a Letterbox geocache, you are looking for! What you can find is a water proof box under a log. This one has an extra present stamps to stamp for the letterboxing.
Ahh the Season of Christmas!!! Thanksgiving rolls around, and the count down begins. The waiting begins. The world seems to have gone bonkers for that one day.
Ok, ok OK already how to find it. Then again why I am giving you directions? I have given the coordinates to about where the “final” lays, and it is under/ina tree stump. Not a pine but a big big tree. Another way to get there would be to just follow your nose down the path. I am sure a Geoacher would look in the logical place in this park. The other one "in honor of Santa" at the front is a little tricky but this one? Well there is NO Christmas tree and it is not wrapped up with a bow saying to you from PZ Dude. But it is in a very geocachy place. a big big tree that is fallen over and rotting. Ok have I built up enough excitement yet on how to find this cache? Just like the days up to Christmas here is the how to, to get your present. Feel like it is Christmas Eve yet?
1. Find the parking lot For Valley Green Reserve at about the coordinates provided.
2. Find the path into the woods
3. At the split take the right one. If you hit the end of the loop you have goon too far turn back around,. But the cache is close to the end of the loop
4. Find about the way point.
5. Big, Big, Big fallen tree on the left if heading back toward the parking lot, on the right if you took the left hand path and have not made it to the end of the loop.
6. It is next to the fallen tree, right hand side
7. 3 trees standing, next to closest to the stump/tree
8. check the picture
Now that was not so hard? But it is now the day after Christmas and you have gotten your present.
