Let's face it, its a fact, without the hiders nobody would have anything to go out and look for right? Groundspeak has created a "Maker Madness" event that runs from March 28th to April 7th and anyone who attends one of these hosted events will also will earn a cool souvenir for their page too. So come on out and meet some of the areas hiders, get some tips and have conversations about the mindset of a hider/maker and how they go through the process of making and finding the perfect spot for their creations (including the online publishing activity required). I'm really hoping to have a nice gathering and good group of fellow hiders in attendance for this event because North Central Ohio does have a great group of very clever people in our area with lots of tips and tricks and knowledge to share to others. If your new to geocaching, or somewhat of a beginner, or just a casual player this would also be a great opportunity for you to show up and gain a lot of knowledge about the tricks and tips of the trade which can only help you going forward when seeking out those cleverly hidden containers wherever you may roam. I hope to see many familiar faces, and some new ones there. If you have any questions feel free to post a note, if you think you can make it please post a will attend log so I can get a count and let the place we are gathering at know in advance how big of a space we may need for our group.
