ここ山梨県北杜市は日本で有数の日照時間を誇り、年間を通して気候も安定している土地です。
今回このキャッシュを設置した場所には、よい景色を眺望できる温泉や、展望台、近くには県立フラワーセンターという広大な敷地を擁する施設があります。また、夏には辺り一面を埋め尽くすヒマワリ畑があり、7月〜9月はサンフラワーフェスというイベントも開催され、多くの観光客がこの地を訪れます。
