Letterboxing in SGL 314 Letterbox Hybrid

This is an old school letterbox.  You will be looking for a plastic ammo can in the woods, but you will not have the final coordinates.  It is hidden in an ordinary fashion - nothing devious.

Follow the directions below to find the cache.  If you follow the directions carefully you shouldn't have any trouble finding it.

• Since this is a letterbox-hybrid there is a stamp and an ink pad in the container.  It is NOT swag.  Please leave them in the container.
• If you collect letterbox stamps go ahead and stamp your book.  The log book is large enough for you to stamp it with your stamp if you have one, but it is not required.

OK, here we go.  Follow the directions below and you should end up at the cache

• Begin at the listed coordinates.
• Walk along the game lands road.
• At approximately 0.34 miles along the road you will see 2 stumps on your right.  A few steps past those you will see a large private property sign.  Continue past these on the road.
• At approximately 0.41 miles from the starting point you will see another large private property sign on your right.
• At this sign, turn left (east), and enter the woods.
• Go straight in, perpendicular to the road, for about 300'.
• When you get close to the cache you will notice several root balls on the ends of fallen trees. One of them is obviously smaller than the others - it is maybe 2'high.
• Go to that smaller root ball and start your search for the cache.
