Maker Maddness Event Event Cache

News flash from Geocaching.com: “Whether you’re a Social Butterfly or a Nature Lover, a Stats Geek, Traveler, or Puzzler, it’s time to say thank you to a geocache maker near you. From March 28 – April 7, geocachers around the world will join together to celebrate the people in their community who make geocaching possible.

We call this celebration Maker Madness. Every geocacher who logs an “Attended” at a registered Maker Madness event will earn a Maker Madness souvenir.” You can find out more about that by clicking the related webpage link above.


To celebrate Maker Madness, we are going to have a cache building contest. The rules are simple: just build it yourself. No store bought ready-to-hide caches will be allowed, but after that no holds barred. Let your imagination soar. Make it cute or clever, or be evil, it's up to you! Awards given for 1st & 2nd place, so don't rush it. Take your time and make it spectacular. You may be glad you did!
