Ese parque tiene el nombre de Manuel Ortiz Guerrero, un poeta que nació en Villarrica.
Es el centro verde de la ciudad e invita a cada visitante a hacer un paseo por su naturaleza abundante. Se puede hacer picnic en el pasto verde alrededor del lago, observar a los patos y carpinchos que viven aquí.
Cuenta la leyenda que la fuente del parque tiene poderes especiales: La chica que toma de su agua encontrará el amor en un Guareño.
El cache se perdió ya varias veces. Mientras tanto se puede hacer el geocache virtualmente: Al lado de la Fuente se encuentra un cartel. Mándenme un mensaje con la fecha (año) que se encuentra en el cartel y lo aceptaré como Geocache encontrado.
