Nominations are now open for great caches. To be eligible for an award, the cache needs to be in San Diego County and needs to have been published prior to March 1, 2014.
Please submit your nominations either with your "Will Attend" log or a "Note" on this cache page, or you can submit anonymously to FlagMan or Let's Look Over Thayer by e-mail or through the GC.com website. NOMINATIONS MUST BE RECEIVED PRIOR TO 5 PM ON MARCH 29th TO BE CONSIDERED.
For each nomination, please include the name of the cache ; the GC# and a short description of why you think the cache stands out as being one of the best. If you wish, you can nominate a series of caches. To do this, please give the GC# of either the first or last in the series and indicate that you are nominating the entire series.
To stimulate your thinking, here is a list of reasons that a cache might stand out. Please note that these are merely examples and you need not restrict yourself to these reasons. Feel free to provide your own ideas. If you feel the cache stands out, please tell us why!

All nominations will judged by the Academy and "Cachies" will be presented to the winners. The Academy reserves the right to determine the manner of judging and all decisions of the Academy shall be final.
So let's thank these Makers, ask questions, give hints, trade trackables, connect signatures with faces and meet cachers from near and far. But most importantly, have a good time, and of course, you get a souvenir!
