A few points which should all be very obvious but I'll state them anyway!
- You do not need to go onto the A417 in order to find this cache. In a "roundabout" way GZ is above the busy road.
- Under no circumstance should you attempt to park by GZ as this would be very dangerous and probably illegal.
- Park at a safe place off the A46 such as Church Lane and walk to the cache.
- The slip roads onto and off the A417 are extremely busy, please use the footpaths but still be extremely careful when crossing.
- If you have geokids with you keep an eye on them at GZ.
The cache is an old tobacco tin which hopefully will remain watertight due to it's lid seal. There is space for a few small bits of treasure so long as they are light and will not make the lid fall off as the tin is hanging upside down, shielded from the worst of the weather.
Logbook is "rite in the rain" paper which works well with biro or pencil in any weather. Logbook is in a plastic bag velcro'd into the tin so it will not fall out, even if the lid comes off. Please be careful when removing the bag so as not to tear it.
The cache is placed along one of my cycling routes and I have thought about placing one here for a long time.
I had wanted to place a simple offset cache clue set here to another nearby canine cache. The cache was rejected but the two co-ordinate clue containers are still in place if you want to find them for fun. Location of this cache should give you a clue to the two containers locations!.
