Geocache Description:


(LAT) Slēpnis ir skārda bundžiņā ar zaļu vāciņu, bundžiņā ir zīmulis un blociņš! (ENG) Cache is tin with green cap. In cache is pencil and notebook.

(LAT) Rozbeķu pils pirmoreiz rakstos minēta 1395.g. kā bīskapa vasaļa pils. Nopostīta poļu-zviedru kara laikā 1601.g. Saglabājušās drupās var saskatīt bijušās pils konfigurāciju - taisnstūra veida celtne ar diviem torņiem. Aizsardzības vaļņu un grāvju paliekas. Ļoti interesants objekts, kas liek aizdomāties par to, cik grandioza šeit kādreiz ir bijusi pils!

(ENG) Rozbeķi castle first in writings was mentioned in 1395. Destroyed in the Polish-Swedish war in 1601. Ruins, which are maintained to the nowadays, made configuration of old castle - rectangular building with two towers. There is preserved protection of bank and ditch remains. Very interesting subject, which makes us think about how grand here ever had been castle!
