Geocache Description:

One of the interesting natural features of the Croatian Baranja region is Banska kosa, or Banovo brdo, its only major elevation, where Kamenjak is the highest point (259 m). Its loess land cover benefits the production of wine, hence Baranja’s excellent wines. On the slopes of Banska kosa, low indentations were formed under the influence of water torrents.

This area is covered with vineyards and forest. You can often see animals around. There are many hikers, tourists, locals and agricultural workers in the harvest season. Locals traditionally make cellars and storages on the sides of the slopes, partially or completely carved in loess.
There are different data on altitude of the highest point. The cache is some 20 minutes of walk from TV tower parking place where nearby one of our caches is also placed (http://coord.info/GC46BRD). You can follow the path traced on OpenStreetMap or Geocaching.com map. The area is near active hunting ground and it is hard to reach during heavy rain and snow.
