This wall is the Winnipeg installation of an interactive public art project that invites people to share their personal aspirations in public space. The original wall was created in New Orleans by artist Candy Chang. See the related webpage. Since then, over 450 Before I Die walls have been created in over 60 countries and over 30 languages by passionate people around the world.
Share how you filled your "blank" in your log if you wish. Or share a favourite from what's on the wall when you visit. Posting pictures of the wall with your log are encouraged. The wall is cleaned regularly, so pictures will be a good way to preserve a gallery of the many hopes that spring up.
The hide itself is supposed to be easy. The joy of this cache is appreciating the art. It's also a rare opportunity for a good sized container in the city centre. The trouble will be the muggle activity, which never goes away. Retrieving and replacing a container of this size may draw muggle attention. It may end up disappearing pretty quick. If so, I'll have to replace it with a micro. It's hard to be stealthy here, but BE STEALTHY!
Please leave the spare chalk in the cache. Feel free to use it. [Dec/16 edit - container is currently too small for chalk]
