2 stage multi. First stage is a bison, second is a small lock 'n lock container but almost a regular, with room for trackables and starting off with some tools in it.
If you're walking around the demonstration trail in a clockwise direction, you will not have to backtrack to the cache. If you're walking in a counter-clockwise direction, you'll have a short (less than .1 mile) backtrack to the cache from the first stage.
The Jordan Lake Educational State Forest is a very nice area to take a hike and enjoy the day. Stop in and say hi to the rangers, they like to chat and hear about geocaching.
They have asked that you not seek the caches when the park is not open. Their website indicates that the hours of the park are below but we found them in on March 2 at 10am so just be aware that the times can vary.
Mid-March to Mid-November - I will disable the cache when the park is closed and delete found logs during that time.
Closed Mondays
