Zavod, this one's for you.
I know how much you rely on the "Available in Winter" attribute to keep that "2 A Day" streak alive. Given the current winter conditions, it is hard to tell if a cache is actually available or not. A guard rail, may be buried in snow. A tree climb, may just be too icy. A tree crotch, the cache is likely frozen in place. "Available in Winter" just can't be guaranteed. Just way too much snow this winter. For that reason, the Winter of 2014, I have removed the "Available in Winter" attribute from all my caches.
This cache however, I can almost guarantee will be available in winter. The more winter, the better for this one.
Winter, this one is a quick park and grab. A 1 for difficulty, and a 2.5 for terrain. But as we get closer to summer, the difficulty and terrain will increase drastically. So much so, that anyone attempting this one in mid-summer, under the cover of leaves, may be confronted with a 5 / 5 cache. Is there an attribute for "Available in Summer", I wouldn't put it on this one. Don't save this one.
Good Luck, and Happy Caching!
P.S. Say Hi to the Sherpa on the way up!
