EN: Art Nouveau is an international philosophy and style of art, architecture and applied art—especially the decorative arts—that was most popular during 1890–1910. English uses the French name Art nouveau ("new art"), but the style has many different names in other countries. For example, it is Jugendstil in Germany, Floreale or Liberty in Italy (named by the London shop which sold designer goods from the movement "Arts and Crafts"), Modern Style in Britain, Modernissimo in Spain, and Coup de fuet or Velde style in Belgium. Art Deco is the later style born in USA, but in Croatia, the movement is known by its austrian name – “Secession”.
A reaction to academic art of the 19th century, it was inspired by natural forms and structures, not only in flowers and plants, but also in curved lines. Architects tried to harmonize with the natural environment.
The Kallina House was built between 1903. and 1904. for the wealthy industrialist Josip Kallina and was designed by the Croatian architect Vjekoslav Bastl, and it is regarded as "one of the finest examples of Secessionist-style street architecture in central Europe."
Bastl had studied in Vienna, where he was influenced by the Austrian architect Otto Wagner, one of the founding members of the Vienna Secession art movement.
Bastl's design for a house entirely covered in decorative ceramic tiles was at the same time inspired by the Majolika Haus in Vienna (built by Wagner in 1898, itself covered in ceramic tiling) and a way of turning the building into a giant advertisement for Josip Kallina's ceramics company (all the tiles used for the house were produced by his factory). The building features decorative iron balconies overlooking the street intersection, depictions of floral and geometric motifs typical for the Art Nouveau style of the period, and a bat-shaped patterned motif around the first floor facade.

Sezession) ili Art Nouveau (francuski: nova umjetnost) je stilski pravac u umjetnosti koji se javio kao reakcija na akademizam i eklekticizam zadnjih desetljeća 19. stoljeća (francuski: fin-de-siècle – stil 1900.). Inspiriran prirodom, u arhitekturu, primijenjenu umjetnost, slikarstvo i kiparstvo unosi elegantnu profinjenost zakrivljenih i ornamentalnost plošnih linija (likovna umjetnost). On je želio uljepšati industrijsku proizvodnju, spojiti umjetnost i obrt, ukrasiti bezlične fasade zgrada …"
U pojedinim zemljama secesija se različito nazivala: u Francuskoj i Belgiji Art Nouveau, u Njemačkoj se zove Jugendstil, u Italiji Floreale ili Liberty (nazvan po londonskom dućanu koji je prodavao modernu dizajnerski robu proisteklu iz pokreta "Arts and Crafts"), u Velikoj Britaniji Modern Style, u Španjolskoj Modernismo, u Belgiji stil Coup de fuet ili Velde stil, u SAD-u je nastala kasnija inačica - Art Deco, a kod nas je poznatija pod Austrijskim nazivom – "Secesija" (odcjepljenje, osamostaljenje).

Kuća Kallina je sagrađena 1903.-1904. kao stambena zgrada za bogatog industrijalca Josipa Kallinu, koji je bio vlasnik i direktor tvornice keramike. Kuću je sagradio zagrebački arhitekt Vjekoslav Bastl, a smatra se jednim od najvažnijih ostvarenja secesijske arhitekture u srednjoj Europi. Bastl je studirao u Beču, pod austrijskim arhitektom Ottom Wagnerom, jednim od osnivača i najvažnijih predstavnika bečke secesije. Trokatna kuća je uglovnica s balkonima na uglu, a ističe se naročito vrijednim pročeljem obloženim višebojnim keramičkim pločicama u pretežno plavoj i žutoj boji (inspiriranim Wagnerovom Majolika Haus u Beču iz 1898.). Na uglovnom dijelu bogati su florealni ukrasi, dok je u zoni prvoga kata pločicama izvedeni motiv šišmiša, po kojem je ova kuća i poznata u popularnoj kulturi (svi ukrasni elementi prikazuju odlike Art Nouveau stila). Jedan od razloga za oblaganje keramičkim pločicama bila je i promidžba Kallininog poduzeća, čime je kuća pretvorena u golemu reklamu.

Your task for finding this cache is to count the bats on the facade. Count ONLY the complete bats, which are made of three separate tiles, and ALL THREE positioned at (roughly) the SAME PLANE. Therefore, the bats whose wing-tile is placed at 90° angle compared to the body is NOT counted, but the curved ones on the balcony ARE counted. Let this 2-digit number be XY (where X is the number of tens, while Y number of ones).
I strongly suggest that the counting is done during daylight, for obvious reasons.

Vaš zadadak za pronalaženje ovog cachea je prebrojati sve šišmiše na fasadi. Brojite SAMO kompletne šišmiše koji se sastoje od tri različite pločice, SVE TRI (otprilike) postavljene U ISTOJ RAVNINI. Dakle, šišmiš kojem je pločica na kojem je krilo postavljena pod kutem od 90° u odnosu na tijelo se NE broji, dok se oni zakrivljeni na balkonu BROJE.
