This geocache is located in the Tuart Forest National Park. The bush here is dominated by the age old Tuart and Peppermint trees. 1080 baits have been laid and dogs or cats are not allowed.
It can be easily reached on foot or by car from North Ludlow Road. 4WD is recommended.
If you take the time to look around you will also see a lot of less obvious flora and fauna. In the summertime the forest floor consists mainly of dry grass but you will also find the contrasting green moss and lichen on logs and rocks in the more shaded areas.
Keep an eye out for kangaroos on the road anytime near dark.
