An 11th generation North Carolinian, Spencer Bolejack was raised on a tobacco farm, which was the family business in Pilot Mountain. After the farm went under, he and his parents relocated to the forest outside of Asheville, where they lived off the land and enjoyed the fruits of not only their labor, but also of the natural beauty encapsulating them. His father would always take him into the mountains. He now focuses on teaching outdoor survival skills up on Cold Mountain in the Appalachians and enjoys teaching others the hardscrabble survival life skills. Spencer would feel right at home up here at GZ. BYOP.
