Geocache Description:

In days past most farms were simply large plots of land that were cultivated and planted. Mother Nature provided the sun and rain and man just had to wait until harvest time to reap his rewards. If Mother Nature provided well, the farmer would have a good crop. Over the years farmers have learned to not rely on Mother Nature quite so much and started to impliment technology to help him reap higher yeilds. Some farms have gone high tech, so to speak, and some have taken technology to the next level. This cache was placed in an area that was just a simple farm only last year. In October of 2013 the farm was once again cultivated and a new crop was planted. In December of the same year, the crops started producing and the harvesting began. Man will be harvesting these crops day after day and year after year for a very long time to come. The cache is located on the right of way and shouldn't be too hard to spot. While I don't know of any other farms in the area that have planted this crop' it is easily recognizable. Cache container is a little smaller that a 35mm film can but it can hold a pathtag or two. BYOP!
