This is the MA building at Two Moody Plaza, which belonged to American National Insurance (ANICO). It was the Medical Arts back in the day. The Days being the late 1920’s when it was built. The building on the right was demolished in 1972 when the skyscraper was built. In its place is a surface area parking lot owned by ANICO. The existing historic building is hopefully going to be renovated soon. In 2013 the owner contracted a leasing agent and is trying to get construction to begin on its new plans.
The Historic Medical Arts Building (HMAB) is a proposed renovation of the existing structure in the downtown Galveston, TX historic district.
