Geocache Description:

We enjoy living in Randolph County and its landscape. It occured to us that there should be a way to see the size and beauty of our county and so we have started placing caches at or near the boundary lines. As always, please be respectful  of property and return the caches as found. Thanks.

Out here on King Mountain Road, there is a Montgomery marker and a pole for Randolph County. Our vehicle took us from a paved road to this gravel road. If you come here it is for the scenic beauty, the solitude and the cache. You are in the Uwharrie National Forest. Uwharrie is translated from German and means,"New Home".

The container is off the road about 30 feet and is a large camo Jar. Nearby is also a culvert drain that goes under the road. Please cover the cache as found and make sure lid is on tight. If log is wet, please replace and let me know.
