Geocache Description:

This is one in our series of Tuart Forest caches. This forest is quite void of undergrowth so walking throughout the area is pleasant at any time of the year. Otherwise 4WD is recommended.

This is in Tuart Forest National Park with 1080 baits so no cats or dogs are allowed.

The term "Bigfoot" is a relatively new term. This creature has been around for as long as there have been campfires. It is known by as many different names as there are cultures. Here a just a few of the historical names given to this creature:
Ape-Man
Boggy Boon
Cave Yeller
Crying Beast
Devil Monkey
Fetid Beast
Forest Devil
Forest Giant
Man-Beast
Orang Pendek
Pongo
Quinkin
Sasquatch
Tommy Knocker
Who-Who
Wigidokowok People
Woolly Booger
Yahoo
Yeti
Yowie

Many people are fearful of this creature as he is ‘different’. But here in this little patch of forest lives our very own Bigfoot. We have seen his footprints, his treasure cave and other items he owns. And now you have seen his trendy little tree house entrance.

Our Bigfoot is friendly and always smiling but he is also very shy so it is unlikely you will actually see him. But HE will be watching YOU so please take care and look after all of his things. You don’t want him to come after you!!
