An easy to find cache near a local landmark. Room for a few small items.
Travelers from the south have been welcomed to Speculator at this location as long as I can remember. Up through the mid 1960's it used to be on the right side of the road, now it is on the left. You can snowmobile right to this location on trail LP4A. A free snowmobile trail map is available at all local businesses and from the Adirondacks Speculator Region Chamber of Commerce.
The container is 2.5" diameter and x 3.25" long and has enough room for small items. This cache was placed for the Mid-Winter Geocaching Get-Together 2014. Bring your own writing implement. A short pencil would fit but I probably won't get a chance to go back before the event.
