Obliektem jest stanowisko bojowe Ringstand 58C - "okrągłe stanowisko" , wzorowane na włoskich schronach, użytych podczas walk o Tobruk (stąd też ich potoczna nazwa – „tobruki”). Schron bojowy o wymiarach 370x235x275 cm, łatwy i szybki w budowie. Konstrukcja wykonana z gęsto zbrojonego betonu o grubości ścian 40 cm. Cały schron umieszczony poniżej poziomu gruntu, całkowicie zamaskowany przed wrogiem. Z ziemi wystaje tylko otwór na karabin maszynowy MG-34 lub MG-42. Schron miał możliwość prowadzenia okrężnego ognia, co czyniło go trudnym do podejścia i zniszczenia. Kąt ostrzału wynoszący 360 stopni miał również tą zaletę, iż dawał możliwość wsparcia ogniem km inne sąsiednie schrony.
