Indian Runners... are an unusual breed of domestic duck. They stand erect like penguins and, rather than waddling, they run. The females usually lay about 150 – 200 eggs a year or more. They were found on the Indonesian Islands of Lombok, Java and Bali where they were 'walked' to market and sold as egg-layers or for meat. These ducks do not fly they run or walk, often dropping their eggs wherever they happen to be.
This is my version....hope you enjoy.!!
This is the Forth in the series of caches around the outskirts of Whitegate. The loop is roughly 5 miles long and will have some spurs added eventually for your added enjoyment.
Some of these are more individual caches, with some added equipment need (Please read individual cache descriptions).
The caches are of various difficulties and various hides..and the odd one to make you smile...
The route is along a short stretch of road with verges, forest tracks and footpaths, fields and raised wooden walkways...With Mud, possible cows, and of course ponds and lakes.
Bring a pen and twizzers, other equipment will be on site...but will need to be found via the hint. Please replace all caches and any other items used where you found them.
Parking is near the church or further into the loop at ...
N53 12.815 W002 35.193 Cassia green lane or
N53 13.080 W002 34.652...Sharrotts Rough.
All items used were found on site....please leave end covered to keep critters out thanks.
Congratulations to Skippy, Pingu and Mr Reallysquare for their FTF.
