To make the event a little more noticeable and fun we have decided to make the event a Tie-dye event :) so come dress in your coolest Tie-Dye shirts or colours similar to as found on the logo :) Come out and celebrate the 11th Annual World Wide FlashMob with us in Brighton! We'll be meeting at the posted co ordinates for a 15 minute FlashMob event. Be there promptly at 1:00 pm to enjoy a quick meet and greet, discover/exchange trackables, take a group photo, award a few raffle prizes and disperse! This will be a quick and easy event so all are welcome and hopefully we get to meet some new cachers and Quackers. We look forward to seeing you there!
A geocache flashmob is a VERY quick event cache. In fact, only 15 minutes long! The idea is to suddenly gather, conduct a quick greet and meet and hopefully snag a photo, then disperse as quickly as you gathered. It is important not to arrive at GZ early!! Walk around like a muggle or stay in your geo-mobile until the time arrives.
NOW this is where it gets cool...we will be using a air duck caller to indicate the start of the event. Assembly will be at 1:00 pm sharp to coincide with WWFM official time at GZ. Hopefully we can organize a group photo, enjoy a meet and greet, trade/discover some trackables and hand out some raffleprizes and before we know it the duck caller will blow again to indicate the end of the event. At that time all cachers will need to leave GZ right away....we can always meet again in a neighbouring parking lot or on the trail or back at the park if you want to hang around and chat some more :)
At the event you will be invited to put your name on a slip of paper to be entered into a raffle draw or to save time you can bring your name already on a piece of paper and drop it into the raffle box. The draw will be 5 minutes before the end of event. Told you this was fast :) Hopefully Groundspeak will be awarding a special souvenier to all those who attend an event on World Wide Flashmob Day! We will have to wait and see on that. We look forward to seeing you there!
