Thomas Jefferson appears in the second position on Mount Rushmore. He was one of the founding fathers of our Country and the principal author of the Declaration of Independence. Jefferson was the third President of the United States and the primary architect of American expansion. He oversaw the purchase of the Louisiana Territory and the Lewis and Clark expedition.

This cache is a tribute to Thomas Jefferson.
