Esta estatua de bronce de Ícaro es 2,5 metros de altura y
4 metros de ancho. El monumento fue erigido en honor del
Carnaval de Águilas, sin duda, la fiesta más importante de
la ciudad.

El monumento es obra del escultor Mariano González Beltrán,
cuyas piezas se pueden encontrar en la región de Murcia.

Diese Bronzestatue des Icarus, ist 2,5 Meter hoch und 4 Meter
breit. Das Denkmal wurde zu Ehren des Karneval von Águilas
aufgestellt, ohne Zweifel, das wichtigste Fest der Stadt.

Das Denkmal ist ein Werk des Bildhauers Mariano González Beltrán,
dessen Stücke sind in der ganzen Region Murcia zu finden.

This bronze Icarus that stands proudly in the port avenue is
2.5 meters high and 4+ meters wide. The monument honors the
carnival of Águilas, without a doubt the town's most important
celebration.

The monument is the work of sculptor Mariano González Beltrán,
whose pieces are found all over the Region of Murcia.
