About the area
This is Danielville Baptist Church, home to a few geocachers.
The original church building (built in 1946) sat where the new metal building now sits. The current sanctuary was built in 1967 and the Sunday school room addition was added in the late 90s. The metal building project began in early 2013 and is projected to be completed in 2014, it will house 2 classrooms for our Wednesday night programs and a large room for our youth group... it will also be a place for special events with enough seating for 300.
Growing up here has been a great experience... to see a small country church grow and flourish in the Lord's work. If you're out caching on a Sunday morning between 10-12, Sunday night between 6-7, or Wednesday Night at 7 feel free to join us for worship or Bible study. You'll most likely be greeted by the friendly faces of JahNeeCache or The_WhitesCJMEk.
From our church history book... "Someone might wonder how a church ever got started in the Danielville Community. The answer is simple; a group of people put themselves in the hands of the Lord and let him use them in his way. Someone might wonder why a church here where there are churches on every side and again the answer is simple. The Lord wanted a church here and all the opposition combined could not prevent it."
Congrats to OHail on FTF!
